Southwood’s layout offers a nice balance of plaza and bowl options. With a small 4ft deep bowl at the back of the park, offering various hip lines, and the larger plaza section to the front of the park, there are a lot of technical lines possible in this one. The Plaza section features a few unique setups with the wedge extension bank wall, bank to jersey barrier style concrete wall everyone will have a different approach to this park.
Located on Calgary’s south end in Southwood Park, the skate park can be found next to the Southwood Community Associate Rink off of Sackville Dr SW. There is parking available in the street around the park.
